ECOPOETIC and the Arts

& Culture

@

LIMS

The Laban artistic community includes incredibly talented and internationally recognized choreographers, dancers, actors, performers, light and set designers, theater and dance directors, critics and teachers.

LIMS has been the New York City home for this community: a place where they can get in touch with the latest developments in Laban & Bartenieff artistic theories and practices as well as meet, find collaborators, experiment with people who share the same interests, and present their works of art.

From 2001 to 2018 Arts & Culture, under the Direction of Regina Miranda, the following initiatives were presented:

MOSAIC; Global Water Dances; Moving Dialogues;  DPA - Dance Performance Atelier Award, Spring Forward, and Movement News Online.

As an artistic farewell, Miranda created ECOPOETIC honoring the Institute's

40th Anniversary.
